I've trekked through the dirt with young, female farmers, spent a month eating a locavore's diet, and stood in the kitchen alongside celebrated chefs. My favorite stories are the ones that explore a person's life through food. In 2015, Les Dames d'Escoffier International honored me with the grand prize M.F.K. Fisher award for excellence in culinary writing for the piece "Sense of Self." I've written for a wide variety of publications, from Food & Wine and Modern Farmer to Thrillist, The Atlantic online, and Nashville Lifestyles.
